Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season the salmon with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Arrange the lemon slices over and around the salmon fillets.
  5. Sprinkle the minced garlic, chopped dill, and parsley evenly over the fillets.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

For an added kick, sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes over the salmon before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
