Ingredients
Method
- In a large wok or skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat.
- Add the beef slices and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of oil.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Return the beef to the wok, then pour in the soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.
- Stir in the cornstarch mixture and black pepper, tossing everything together until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
