- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.
- Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
- Pour the tomato glaze over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the glaze is bubbly.
- Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
Notes
These meatballs can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Reheat them in the oven before serving. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the meatball mixture.
